Kill Your Creator

"Kill Your Creator. The song starts with a pure rock guitar riff, followed by melodic but punchy vocals. The rhythm section is very dynamic and the song has a very good sound and arrangement, with a very catchy chorus that probably will get stuck in your head" - Giovanni Gagliano, Given To Rock

about
The Band
Ellis in Transit are a British-Canadian indie rock band hailing from Hamilton, Ontario. Migrating from Scotland to Canada, Ellis in Transit transformed from an acoustic blues duo into an alternative four piece. The band are known for pairing powerhouse blues-rock vocals with Britpop 90s guitar riffs, creating a sound that is unique yet “dripping in nostalgia”. Their debut single 'Thousand Feet Deep' attracted the attention of local and international radio stations alike, prompting the band’s feature on Y108 Hamilton’s Emerging Artist Showcase. "Alexandria’s voice is a force – her distinct and powerful vocals make the band instantly recognizable, and they’re only just getting started" - Kristin Archer of 'I Heart Hamilton Radio'.
Ellis in Transit have amassed some of Ontario's best music festivals including NXNE, Canadian Music Week and The Sound of Music Festival with Sublime and Tokyo Police Club to name a few. In the last year, Ellis in Transit have competed in 102.1 The Edge’s Band Opener Contest to open for Juno award winners Monowhales and were finalists in 97.7 HTZ-FM The Rocksearch and JJ Wilde’s “Born to Die” duet contest.
“There are moments [...] where I feel like I could be listening to this in a blues bar from an old movie and moments where I could be in the middle of an arena concert with a ripped tee-shirt” - Dropout Entertainment
